WAITING!!

Took the trailer to a shop very near here. They are checking out the fridge, replacing the sewer cap, and installing the brake light cable that hooks to the truck. In the meantime I took some fotos of an RV park right here in Antioch. They have about 20 spaces and charge $20.00 a nite with 14 days max.

DONE!!!

Well, I got my certificate for '...years of distinguished and dedicated service to the citizens of...', got Congrats cards, hugs and kisses. Now, I am in the house I will leave and hit the road in my NEW HOUSE sitting out back! Can't wait!!
I have been reading the posts in VanDwellers and I am ready for the freedom, joy, and simplicity that my new life will provide me.

DONE!

Well, I didn't know what to expect but, here it is; DONE! I shook hands, hugs, kisses and cards, got a certificate of appreciation for '...distinguished and dedicated service...', and I walked out! Or rather, I snuck out. There were people there I did not want to see or be seeing with as if we were pals!
Anyway, it's DONE!
NEXT: I will have the new house ready by the middle of November and out on the road...

LAST WORKING DAY!

Well, I gave notice here at work. My last offical day will be Friday, 10/28/2011! I will not show up for work before that date becasue I have WEEKS of sick and vacation time I can claim. I will use up sick time and donate the rest to a 'bank' that is kept for chronically ill workers who have exahusted their sick time. I will feel good doing that.
Anyway, I am sooooooooo fucking happy to leave this place! Not so much the clients but the people that show up and are supposed to work here! What a bunch of freaks!!...and stupid!!

New House

This is the inside of a very roomy 22ft trailer! It sleeps 6 so I sould have no porblems by myself! Maybe I can meet up with a lady soemtime and share. I'd like that.

I am getting as much info as possible about how to live off-the-grid! I am going mobile and self sufficient in my new home. Here are a few pics.

Excited!

Well, I have the F250. I have the travel trailer...22ft. Before those two come together I need to shed a job and a 3 bedroom house! ( working on it ).

I have lived in a VW camper and in the back of a pick-up with a shell. This travel trailer ( I have to name it ), is luxurious by comparison!

I am so excited I don't know where to begin.

I decided I NEEDED a re-do with my life after realizing that I am single with no kids or dependents, my job, and more importantly, the people that come here to work, are a drag, my house was worth LESS than half what I bought it for, and I have a pension of $1100.00 a month if I retire now. Most people would consider this a no-brainer.

I will be posting...at least that's the plan...as this 'change' takes place.

Right now I am at work but counting the months! Possibly the end of November, or, as I said to the Program Director yesterday, the end of March. End of March if I want to remain in the house past winter Holidays and save money. But, I am itching.
